- Nick agrees to help Gatsby
- Nick invited Daisy to tea without knowing that Gatsby would be there
- Gatsby showed his true self, becoming awkward and losing his elaborated speech
- Gatsby's reunion with Daisy was very awkward so Nick tried to leave them alone for a half an hour.
- When Nick returned, he found them radiantly happy with "Daisy shedding tears of joy and Gatsby Glowing"
